Tarot in a Fashion
Once upon a time, Tarot was considered to be a scary, taboo subject. In the days prior to the web, to source a tarot reader either meant visiting the resident clairvoyant at the end of the pier, or by word of mouth, passed along the grape vine from friend to friend. I began to have an interest in this wonderful subject of Tarot, way, way back in the 1970's, a time best forgotten, arguably, for its fashion. Yes, dear reader, I wore those 'Oxford bag trousers', with the 'high tide' waist, exceedingly wider legs and matching tank top. Wet weather was a nightmare, as the trousers would soak up rainwater, like a thirsty man in the desert. Platform shoes were the only hope of keeping the trousers dry; it was worth the risk of a twisted ankle.
